Garry Mmulutsi
Garry is the Managing Director and Founder of the organization. In order to pursue his passion for Project Management, Garry formed MPP in 2014. He graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2001 with a BSc (Construction Management) Degree. He is currently completing an MSc (Building Management) in the Field of Project Management. In his career, Garry has been involved various projects including very significant projects that were key in the successful hosting of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The projects were in and around the Nasrec Precinct, which was host to the International Broadcast Centre and also the venue of the opening and the closing ceremonies, the FNB Stadium. Garry was employed at SIP in 2002, the Johannesburg Development Agency in 2007, Inkwali Project Management Services as well as Arup (Pty) Ltd, an international multi-disciplinary consulting company with head-offices in London, United Kingdom.
Thipe Matlala
Thipe holds a National Diploma in Business Management (NDIP) and a B-tech in Business Administration, both from the University of Johannesburg. He has also completed Entrepreneurship course that was sponsored by BHP Billiton at the Centre for Small Business Development (CSBD) at the University of Johannesburg (Soweto Campus). Thipe has been in the business management industry for more than 20 years, he comes with vast experience with sales of petroleum products. He was involved in management of service stations being run by different oil companies such as BP, Engen and Sasol. Thipe was also involved in a petroleum products wholesaling company as Operations Manager. He has in the process acquired and honed his business management skills, client liaison, Business Management, Strategies Implementation etc., in addition to his formal qualifications in Business Management.
Adrian van der Westhuizen
Adrian holds National Diploma in Civil Engineering (N. Dip Civ. Eng.) and is a Project Manager in the Planning, Design, Develop and Construction stages of various projects. He has extensive knowledge and experience of managing, directing and monitoring both small- and large-scale building and civil engineering projects. A high performing civil engineer who has considerable experience of working on building, power plant, mining, roads & infrastructure, utilities, geotechnical, structural, drainage and flood prevention projects. On the technical side, able to accurately prepare projects to the highest standards, particularly drawings, plans, schedules and construction design maintenance documentation production. His vision is to fully utilise his technical background and expertise in project management and provide excellent skills in building, civil and other infrastructures. He is a professional member of ECSA – Candidate Civil Engineering Technician.
Thapelo Maloka
Thapelo is a Civil Engineering Technologist with experience in project supervision, administration and management as a resident engineer in both small and large –scale civil engineering projects. A Civil Engineering technologist with vast experience with different contractors for projects in building, roads, water and sanitation. He obtained a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Tshwane University of Technology in 2012, further obtained a B-tech in Civil Engineering from UNISA in 2019. Thapelo also obtained an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Cranefield in 2020 and is currently studying towards a Post-graduate in Programme management. He is a registered member of ECSA as a Candidate Engineering Technician and also a registered member of SAICE as an associate member.
Nthabiseng Phethle
Nthabiseng obtained a qualification in National Diploma in Marketing Management at Central Johannesburg College in 2020 majoring in Sales Management, Marketing Communication and Marketing Research, she also obtain Certificate of Competence in Project Management with the University of the Witwatersrand Johannesburg from May till July 2022. Nthabiseng Joined Mmulutsi and Partners Projects Pty (Ltd) in July 2022 as a Marketing Administrator and Business Development. I have also acquired administration skills while working for Jetline Melrose Arch as a Front Counter Assistance/ Production Team and Designing for a period of 6 years. Nthabiseng have full confidence in her skills and experience and believes that she will add value to Mmulutsi & Partners Project Pty (Ltd).
Itumeleng Komape
Itumeleng obtained a qualification in National Diploma in Construction Science at Central University of Technology in 2019 majoring in Construction Management, Construction Technology and Quantity Surveying. He did his training as a Site Junior Project Manager at Mmulutsi and Partners Projects (Pty) Ltd in 2018 as part of the institution’s second year Academic Curriculum. The project entailed the construction of Hammanskraal Social Development Centre for the community of Stinkwater. As a Junior Project Manager, Itumeleng ensures effective productivity, providing the outmost quality of work within the specified timeframe and ensuring that the objectives of MPP are in alignment with the expectancy of the Client.
Kanyane Tlomatsana
Kanyane is an Admitted Attorney with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Limpopo. She was a Candidate Attorney at a boutique law firm in Sandton specializing in Property Law, arrear levy and rental collections and general litigation. She then joined a Construction Programme Management company as their Contracts Manager, reviewing ongoing contracts and advising on compliance and applicable legislation. Before joining MPP, she was an Associate at a law firm where she specialized mainly in drafting of commercial contracts as well as debt collection. Kanyane has vast experience in drafting of commercial contracts and various other agreements.
Jabulani Malindi
Jabulani obtained his National Diploma in Civil Engineering at Tshwane University of Technology. He started his career at Pedi Projects as a site engineer in 1998 and as a construction manager in 2001 for Tiro Projects. Jabulani has vast experience in project management as he joined SIP in 2003 as a Junior Project Manager until 2020, where he was involved in many retail, offices, warehouse, hospital, gyms and residential developments including the Trade Route Mall in Lenasia, the FNB and Wesbank buildings in Randburg, Virgin Active gyms at Cedar Square Shopping Centre and Balfour Park Shopping Centre, the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in Parktown and The Regency Luxury hotel and apartments in Pretoria are amongst the projects that he was involved in.
Lesego Mahlo
Lesego Mahlo is an innovative, goal orientated, highly determined and strategic thinking Civil Engineer/Project Manager with vast years’ of experience providing technical engineering and optimization solutions in the Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Engineering, Structural Engineering and Project Management for Construction and Mining industries.
He is also proficient at applications of engineering principles for quality assurance of designs of earth dams and tailings facilities, traffic and transportation engineering, pavement design and structural engineering, modelling and simulation software packages (Model Maker, AutoCAD) for design cost and value engineering.
Mmakau Phago
Mmakau holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration which she obtained from IIE Rosebank College. Before she joined Mmulutsi and Partners Projects (Pty) Ltd as a Financial and Business Administration Assistant, Mmakau was employed at Clientele Limited as a Client Retention Specialist. Her role at Clientele Limited consisted of, among others, acting as a liaison between longstanding clients and clientele, handling billing queries and issues. In her current role at Mmulutsi and Partners Projects (Pty) Ltd, Mmakau is responsible for, but not limited to overseeing the organization’s financial and budgetary activities. Mmakau is currently enrolled for and completing her Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at Wits Business School.
Patrick Maako
Patrick holds a B-eng in Structural Engineering (honors) from Unisa obtained in 2022, a B-Tech in Civil Engineering from Unisa obtained in 2022, and a National Diploma in Civil engineering from Tshwane University of Technology obtained in 2015, Currently studying towards his Master’s of Professional in Civil Engineering (M-eng) at wits and Currently registered as Candidates Engineering Technologist. He started his career in 2013 to 2015 at Wantlha Consulting Company as a student technician and I joined various companies both Construction and Consulting Companies as a Junior Foreman, Site Supervisor, Site Agent, and Resident Engineer where my responsibilities were Site supervision, Quality control, monitoring progress on site, control time management, supervise all the site activities, liaising with professional teams that are involved in the project, maintain standard and specification of the construction drawings.
